Educational provision at our day nursery in Wednesbury

We are registered by the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) which enables us to claim a grant for all three and four year olds, which can then be used towards your nursery fees. This grant entitles you to 15 hours per week during term time only. The grant is available from the first term following your child’s 3rd birthday until they start school. We follow the curriculum guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage and will receive advice and support.

We also have funding for 15hrs a week term time for 2 year olds however there is a criteria to meet not all children are entitled please contact nursery for more information.

Our belief is that education is based on developing the individual, providing personal attention and support so that all children in our care reach their full potential. This is achieved by organising well planned learning activities within The Early Years Foundation Stage by using encouragement, consideration and care, with particular emphasis on the seven desirable outcomes of learning:

Childrens development is monitored and recorded every 3 months and feedback given to parents inform of a short report and parents feedback is encouraged. Staff also track childrens speech every 3 months using a tool called Wellcomm screening.
