Funded places

We are registered by the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) graded OUTSTANDING in 2024, this  enables us to offer funded places for children from 9 months for working parents, you may be eligible for 15 or 30 hours depending on meeting the funding criteria. All 3 -4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours funding term time only we do also offer the funding stretched throughout the year if a full year place is required.  The funding is available from the first term following your child’s birthday until they start school.

We also have funding for 15hrs a week term time for 2 year olds (ELT) for none working parents, however there is a criteria to meet not all children are entitled please contact nursery for more information or visit Sandwell Family Information services website (FIS)

Education

Our belief is that education is based on developing the individual, providing personal attention and support so that all children in our care reach their full potential. we do this by implementing in the moment planning following children’s interest with added curiosity. This is achieved by organising well planned learning environment within The Early Years Foundation Stage by using encouragement, consideration and care, with particular emphasis on the seven desirable outcomes of learning:

Children’s development is monitored and recorded every 6 months unless there is any areas of concern then extra development checks will be completed and feedback given to parents inform of a short report and parents feedback is encouraged. Staff also track children’s speech every 6 months using a tool called Wellcomm screening additional screening will take placed if  a child is not at expected level.

We follow the curriculum guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage and will receive advice and support.
